It seems like every song you've made recently has been nothing less than pure excellence. It's good to see that you have a very consistent style that mixes up TheFatRat with some elements of Colbreakz and Panda Eyes. The drop, melody, and everything in between was spot-on here, as always.

DJ-Zyzyx responds:

Thanks bro :)

This version is absolutely a lot better. Now it kinda sounds like a song from the opening to a James Bond movie! I think one of the things that makes it sound better is that you don't have so many discordant layers going off at once anymore. It also helps that a lot more of those layers are in the lower register, so it doesn't come off as shrill.

Troisnyx responds:

The last version, as you remarked, was rushed. It only took two weeks -- but this one kinda did, it's strange. Regardless, I am glad you enjoy it -- and I am glad it turned out a lot better than version 1.

Definitely tops DJ Nate's underwhelming original. I like how you added a lot of fresh stuff here. Although some sounds were a bit too "whispy" (if that makes sense) I think you definitely made some really nice house-style music here. 1:21 was a particular highlight.

Honestly, if you hadn't said that this was a mashup of existing songs, you would have fooled me into thinking this was its own thing. And it's very well-made too. Definitely another step up from your original mashup style of just combining song segments. This is impressive work!

Finnsfolks responds:

Wow, really? That's awesome! Thanks, man! :)

This starts off so promising, but the drop just sounds extremely grating and unprocessed. Plus the rhythm is just bizarre.

iamwontolla responds:

Not sure what you mean by "grating and unprocessed"? This is in the same vein as producers like Au5 or Xilent... Same with the rhythms, that 1/16 syncopation is a big part of modern DnB.

NICE!!! I really like what you did with the melodies. You made the song better in a lot of ways. Only problem is how quiet the drops are, but meh. No biggie.

Falsesouth responds:

Yeah, it's something I will be able to fix for upcoming tracks. So absolutely, "No biggie" ;)

Thanks for the review!

At 20 seconds, I knew this was worth five stars. Fantastic instruments you've picked, and I love the balance. The melodies are really good and fun too. The drop is just the right tone for the rest of the song. It isn't too out of place, but it isn't boring either. I like that segment after the drop too. Wonderful change of pace. And the whole time, it's all got a very nice bouncy and happy feeling. Plus a very cool F777 style drop directly afterward too, and then I guess it just turns into megalovania at 2:37? Cool anyways.

9.7/10 overall. Sweg ending too.

DJ-Zyzyx responds:

Thanks so much mate :DDDD I appreciate your review!

Sweg and catchy. I like it!

Squeegee4554 responds:

Thanks dude!

Nice, funky, upbeat. No complaints except that I wish that the change at 1:26 would have led to something a little more distinct and different at 1:29. Maybe a few added layers, harder bass, fx, or something. Ditto at 3:00, which was very similar. The lack of tonal changes made the song a little too repetitive considering its length.
But I realize that I just tend to like bombastic songs, and not everyone does. It can be hard to make something that's extremely dynamic, and produce a lot of content, without it putting a drain on creativity.
This song gets a well-earned high score.

Noisysundae responds:

Can't agree more with everything you said. My creativity tank was empty when I was making this, and it took me a whole week to finish. :(
