HAHA the first part sounds like the beginning of Believer by Imagine Dragons!

But seriously, good stuff as usual. The first half sounds a little weird and takes a while to get going, but everything from 1:43 onward sounds good and cohesive.

LunyAlex responds:

Thanks for the feedback and review!
Very appreciated

It sounds like it was done by OcularNebula

monikrr responds:

I can see the resemblance

Dude holy crap, this is so good! Your hard work really paid off. Like you said, it's not very similar to the original, but I don't see that as a fault. That's a really good thing! More of your skill shines through the more you innovate off of the original song.

The instrument choices were a masterstroke here by the way. Every single one works perfectly. And holy cow I LOVE what you did from 2:37 to 3:15, it sounds like a beautiful movie score! I love this so much.

Tennon responds:

Lol thanks, i might have a shitload of songs coming in the next few months

What this remix really gets right is song structure. For instance, in the first 30 seconds, you did a great job of continuously intensifying the tone. It's a proper build-up, done really well. Every section of the song is well-balanced, and each one is just about the right length in proportion to the overall piece. One thing it's lacking is variety in terms of melody. It would have been cool if you were to move beyond the original 10-note pattern as the piece progressed, building on it in some way and getting really creative with it. This remix is short enough, though, that it's excusable enough.

You're really improving a lot!

Minecraftpawa responds:

Thanks! While I definitely agree that I could have been more creative with the melody, I'd say the last 30 seconds or so are probably worse, with those random noises.

My goodness, this is hot! Keep up the great work

FeniXNova04 responds:

Thank you! I'll be making many more tracks very soon.

Hmm. This sounds like the instrumental on a Childish Gambino song. It feels very industrial but it doesn't sound like it was meant to stand alone. The part where it loops at the end is kinda awkward. But the production mastering and whatever are good.

etK responds:

Yeah there isn't supposed to be this awkward second at the end, I'll fix that :)
Thanks for your review! This project is based on another one, an nice instrumental beat. I figured I'd have fun with it. I'm glad you like the mixing!

This is right up my alley. I like dubstep, and I like the extra emotional power that rich strings and horns can add to a piece. Particular highlight here is 2:23. The drop is really good too. The only minor complaint I have is that the synth lead in some places is maybe too plucky, rather than punchy. One example where this is the case is 1:36. I wish the lead at that point was just a little less staccato. But maybe that's just me.

Aydin-Jewelz123 responds:

Thanks for the feedback dude. Hadn't though about the lead being plucky, will have a little look and see how it sounds otherwise. Listening back to it now, I get the one you mean. It gives it a chirpy sort of vibe right. In a way altering the tone of the piece. Yeah, hadn't really focused on that at all tbh. Will take it into consideration in future dude.

Trying to get a specific set of sounds to work with rather than use everything to try and get some consistency across tracks, and that one in particular is from the tournament from January so use it quite a bit. Might use it more sparingly in future!

Any tracks of your you want some feedback on dude, just hit me up. Currently putting together the March animal noises tournament track so I'm not too busy xD

Pretty nice. I like how it sorta a has a Latin swing to it.

Aydin-Jewelz123 responds:

Thanks for your kind words :)

This is some pretty suh-weet trance music. Gave my ears a nice experience the whole way through. The only thing is that some of the transitions were... idk... they just felt a little abrupt and unnatural at times. Not too jarring, but still just a tad awkward. The rest is great.

DJEvilNeon responds:

I only noticed a few bits here and there after uploading but i'm happy enough with it :]

This is some, like, really really good stuff. I love the variation. I love how you tie in the spoken parts. I love the melodies and the beat! More like this please!

Waterflame responds:

Thanks! : D
