Cool! Very catchy. I feel like I've heard it somewhere. It's just a bit too over-processed and screechily loud.

jjoon responds:

Oh thanks :)

Well, it's decent. But the percussion is too loud at the beginning, and parts of it tend to be repetitive.

Squeegee4554 responds:

Ok - that's the thing with GarageBand - everything is either too loud or too quiet.

Well, this is even better than the first. That transition at 0:50 was breathtaking. You mixed these songs fantastically yet again, and I'm sure it was even harder with 4 songs instead of 2.

Oh, by the way, would you be interested in taking a look at my very first track, which I posted yesterday? I'd appreciate it.

Finnsfolks responds:

Thank you. Also, I just reviewed it.

Dang, that mix is really somethin'! It matches really well, and sounds super cool. I wanna hear more! Just make sure you list every song used in order so it doesn't get taken down, and get permission and all that.

Finnsfolks responds:

Got it, thx. By the way, have you heard the Race of Shapes Mashup yet?

Fantastic. Very good overall flow. I really enjoy it. By the way, if you're looking for another 20-second loop to remix, you should remix aerostep by Xtrullor. I'm positive you'd find a way to improve it as you did here. Again, great job. It really sounds like a song NK would make or something. Quality!

Ravitex responds:

Maybe ill check it out when im done with some current projects that im workin on. Anyway, glad you liked this remix!

Why is it so quiet in the first part? Seriously, that's way too quiet for way too long. As for the melody, well, it's decent, but you really need to make those notes more staccato because they just slide and crash into each other. The drop is decent, but kind of random. You made that alarm clock go on too long. Sorry for all the pessimism, but these are just the things I noticed. The melody after that first drop took me by surprise since it didn't really fit in with the rest of the song. The best part of the song was the second drop. It was a major improvement over the first.
If I were to put the song's problems to any one source, I would say it's the lack of consistency. You really needed to improve the volume, and come up with a more consistent melody. It seems like you just made up some separate ideas and then tried to hook them together awkwardly during the production of the song. The best strategy is instead to focus on one central them and build off of it. Stay consistent!

Squeegee4554 responds:

For some reason, when you (as in one) exports a song from GarageBand, it becomes extremely quiet. As far as I know, one can't make it louder without downloading a ton of rubbish from the Mac App Store. This makes it very difficult, but I'm afraid we'll have to live with it. Thank you for you comment, it's very useful and I'll take your advice for my future songs!

Decent, but I think you need to focus more on dynamics. There is very little shift or change in this song, and that's very important with house tracks. Granted, it is a loop, of course, so it's not too big of a problem.

MrCreeperGeometryDas responds:

Ok, I will look into it.

Yes!! I love the original and always have wanted to see how a remix would sound. On top of that, the fact that it's an orchestral remix is even better, and that's an instant perfect score! That part at 1:20 gave me chills. Amazing!!! And holy dang, that drop!! Wow!!!!!!!!!!

I can't express enough how perfect this remix is! Fan-flipping-tastic.

Sharks responds:

Thank you a lot

Awesome remix! Those problems with the vocals really aren't a huge issue actually. People just like being nit-picky because there's not much else to fault this remix for. Good job!!!

By the way, I just released my very first song. I was wondering if you'd be interested in checking it out, maybe? IDK if it'll show up since I haven't been scouted yet (I'm new). But, yeah, great work, and I'd appreciate some feedback.

DJ-Zyzyx responds:

Thanks for leaving a review :D But the thing about the vocals: Right now, the 'clipping' which I don't hear may not be an issue, but if I ever want to make money off of my music then I will have to learn to fix little things like that. Basically in the future it will be more important. But sure, I'll listen to some of your stuff!

Not bad; just kind of annoyingly loud and processed.

silentsilver1 responds:

Oh yeah, didn't ( and still don't) know shit about making music. Just dabbled XD

Hence no new subs. But thanks for listening :P
